In a nutshell….

• I am 50 years old
• I am the mother of two fabulous boys, (18 & 20)
• I am currently unemployed along with 20% of America*
• I just celebrated 10 years of sobriety
• I am single after 27 years of marriage
• We’re smack dab in the middle of a global pandemic, economic crisis and racial upheaval
• I scored a house-sitting gig in Hawaii for a few months, sold all my stuff, moved and hope to stay

This blog is a fusion of all above facts – my story of aloha amidst massive upheaval. Call it a mid-life crisis, call it a period of transition, call it crazy. I choose to call it the opportunity of a lifetime. Come with me through words and photos. We’ll see how it all unfolds!
